W/E 4th April Wrap Up

Continuing with what i started last week, i thought that it was about time that i wrap up all that i have got through this week. It has been a busy week, however i have still managed to get out some posts, keep growing my twitter profile, and for those of you that are new or don’t remember the old one, the theme is completely new.

Well i started out on Monday with a nice and quick tip for twitter. The post was Twitter Tip – Leave a Link, personally a good little tip i think. Leaving something for people to click on if they happen by your profile. This can be an even more important idea if you tend to follow a lot of people when you are not online and they check your profile, the last thing you tweeted is the biggest thing on the screen.

On Tuesday I finished up the starting an internet business series with Summing up the Internet Business Path. This was a great series i think it helps maybe not with the absolute fine details but with making a decision on what direction to go. Also some pointers on software to use, where to host your site and getting a domain name.

Wednesday saw a little change in pace, at my other blog. Build a good relationship with your landlord may focus on where you decide to setup your business, however the theme behind this piece can be applied to many areas of your business. Basically it comes down to the importance of building relationships with the people that you do business with, can be more valuable then the business you do.

For Thursday here at no fixed office, i move the topic away from business for a little break and took a look at One place to save. This being the money that you spend on coffee when you are working in a coffee shop and how you can look to save some money on this, especially if you are going to a regular basis like me then you can save yourself quite a lot of money.

To finish up the week at joelbrown.id.au i decided to share a few of the great links to tutorials. All up between 4 links there is a total of 230+ tutorials covering different aspects of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Fireworks. 230+ Tutorials for your learning pleasure.

With that covering pretty much my posting activity for the week. Twitter has been pretty successful for me as well. In the last week i think i have made more connections then any other week, and not just in the fact that i connected with 563 new followers, but i have had more valuable conversations and connected with people directly rather then as a whole.

Finally we cannot forget i also chose this week to make some fairly big changes to the site here. Last week the site was running with a very very minimally modified default template. Today it using a customized version of the Darkzen Template, you can find more about the theme on Daily blog Tips.

All in all i have managed to get quite a lot done this past week, and lookingo forward to the week that is coming. Things are starting to move a little quicker for me now, but you can be assured that i will always make the time to connect on twitter, and to share the posts that i share with you here every Tuesday and Thursday.
