Love Work

There is one essential part of working that many people miss, and that is the idea to love the work that you do. When you are placed in a small box like cube that you need to work in for 8 hours it becomes very hard to even pretend to love the work that you are doing.

Moving away from such a confined, or defined space can really inspire some of the creativity that you need to begin if not loving your job at least enjoying it. While to some extent this may be like bringing your work and your life together into a more combined part of the whole, it can also allow you to get more done in less time, but for that work to be of better quality and more creative.

Some people can achieve this working from their home, however working from you home all the time can bring the same downfalls as working in a office cubicle. It is defined, and mostly always the same. It can block you from being creative. While you are likely to spend at least some of your working hours, in your home working, there is a much more open and creative way to work outside your home.

This does not mean picking a place and always going their, it can mean going to a coffee shop today or the beach, even just taking a walk, or going and seeing something that is not within your normal routine. This is because work is not always about doing something, it can be about thinking and planning in your mind. Then putting this planning and thinking into action. Can you imagine walking around the office just thinking and not being questioned by your manager.

Just for one day try working outside the office or working in an environment that you find is more condusive to your being creative. You may just find that it gives you much more satisfaction and find that you want to do this more and more.
