Thinking of some things that I have been meaning to do one of them is a weekly wrap. Basically where I put together a bit of everything that I have done for the week, a bit of a montage I guess. Sharing the posts, links, and maybe some tweets that have together been the week that has just pasted for me.
I started out on Monday sharing a post on my blog continuing about my point there is really no secret (from a marketing point of view anyway). The post was named “If it is so Secret” in this post I outlined two basics if it is such a great secret why sell it, but more importantly why sell it for such a low price.
I followed up with my next post for the week here. The post was part #5 in my series about creating an online business. This post was all about Promoting your new Web Site. The focus was to share some ways that you can promote your site, such as Adwords, twitter, facebook, forums and affiliate marketing.
Wednesday saw me discussing some of the costs that can be associated with product returns. The post was How do Returns affect Retailers. While my business does not actually operate in the retail sector at the moment, I have previously worked in retail and seem to have a skill at identifying costs, that help me to maintain my decision to stay out of the retail market.
For Thursday I continued with part #6 of the online business series. This parts focus was Adding a Revenue Stream to your web site. Looking at some of the ways that you can generate income from your site, such as Adsense, affiliate marketing and some others.
Finally for Friday I have a quick round up of some of the WordPress plug-ins that are the first I think of or install when setting up a new website. Simply they are WordPress Plugin’s you can use, and not just use but can actually really improve your site and help you build it further.
While that sums up my posting activities for the week, that is not really all that I have got through. I have made quite a leap forward with my twitter account. I have added about 518 new followers this week, and from my point of view been improving my use of the service and connected with quite a few great people.
All in all it has been a fairly good week, I think however as i always believe all good things can always be made better, and can always be improved. Which is what I aim for to constantly improve. I think that the weekly wrap up is something that I will look todo on a weekly basis’s.
