Some idea’s where to set-up office for the day

While some people have a place or just know where they want to go either each day or any particular day to make their office for the day, others can have a hard time thinking where might be a good idea. There are many great location’s in all cities it is just finding somewhere you are comfortable with and that you can work to a reasonable level of productivity in.

The first suggestion comes from personal experience, and is the choice i have actually made today. Right now as i write this post i am sitting in a local cafe, enjoying a cup of coffee, and i believe being much more productive then if i was sitting at home. This cafe is generally a place i visit most days, and i find that if i have a good list of things i need to accomplish i can achieve a large amount of productive work, in 1 – 2 hours, or really much less time then if i did the same thing at home.

Ok so cafe’s are maybe a easy one to pick. So something not so obvious you may not have even thought about making your office is a local park, beach or nature reserve. While it could sound crazy, depending on the location it may be just the change of scenery that you need to get some good work flow going. Especially for those who are in a creative field it can be that changing location that gets your writing going to maybe your idea’s flowing.

Finally if you want to take a little time out as well as a bit of work you could consider going a little further afield to a small country town or to an ocean lookout. While not everyone’s idea of a good place to work, again it can be a mix of a break from what seems like real work, and also expand your opportunities for your business, by finding new ideas, clients and niches, in out of the way places.
